The DOTA 2 Team of SVentures Gaming, which is a newly established esports organization was able to make it in the monthly finals for the BENQ Go4DOTA 2 Challenge which is handled by Electronic Sports League Southeast Asia. It was a grueling month as the team battles other professional teams coming from the SEA region and they never had thought after their defeat against Kingdom from Singapore yesterday, July 27, 2014, that they will still qualify after sliding down from 3rd to the 7th rank in the SEA team region ranking.
As posted in the facebook page of ESL SEA and their website, the team would be facing Zibi Stack this August 4, 2014 which is also a formidable Singaporean team in the SEA region. The team will be practicing harder within the week and had cancelled all their match appointments to focus in their online boot camp to ensure that Philippine gaming teams would not falter and will have a chance in bringing home the pride for the country.
"We will be focusing in improving our team coordination and cancelling all matches scheduled this week to focus more in the event since this is a SEA region event. We want to bring more pride not for the organization but for the Filipino people. We are currently inviting all professional gaming teams for our friendly matches this week." said Sanie "Wizmaster" Cagoco, the CEO and founder of SVentures Gaming in a statement about their team qualifying in the ESL SEA tournament.
Their lots of things that the team needs to improve more especially in their recent loss during the MPGL Class S monthly showdown. Aside from SVentures Gaming, MSI-EvoGT Tric which is a Philippine gaming team also made it to the monthly finals. We will be expecting a lot from both teams and hoping for them to grab the top spot.
