The DOTA 2 Team of SVentures Gaming, which is a newly established esports organization was able to make it in the monthly finals for the BENQ Go4DOTA 2 Challenge which is handled by Electronic Sports League Southeast Asia. It was a grueling month as the team battles other professional teams coming from the SEA region and they never had thought after their defeat against Kingdom from Singapore yesterday, July 27, 2014, that they will still qualify after sliding down from 3rd to the 7th rank in the SEA team region ranking.
As of June 1, 2014, the current prize pool of DOTA 2's The International 4 reached more than US$ 8 Million and its still going up every second. With this amount, the DOTA 2's International Tournament breaks world record as the highest prize pool money for a single event. With 57 days more to go, will the prize pool reach its' US$ 10 million mark? With this big amount of cash, how will the tournament organizers decide in giving the cash prizes to the participants? During the second qualifier of the Philippines DOTA 2 Cup held last April 20, 2014, Wargods from Manila dominated the event among 39 teams throughout the country, securing their spot in the 1st Philippines DOTA 2 Cup this December. Their worthy adversary Viggo.Net which landed second place last April had won and bested 41 teams during the May Qualifier held last May 31, 2o14. With this turn of events, Viggo.Net gained another chance to fight against Wargods to regain their honor and glory.

After a month of gaming online and challenging other teams around the country who had signed up for the monthly leg of the Philippines DOTA 2 Cup sponsored by SVentures Gaming, Team Remain bested all 36 participants around the country. They had outwitted, outlasted and dominated the field with their strategic defense and proper team coordination that had swept enemy's base in a 3-0 score.
After a week of being postponed, the March qualifying round for the 1st Philippines DOTA 2 Tournament is back in action. The reason why the game was postponed due to multiple request being made since March is graduation and finals month. The organizer wants to make sure that the tournament will be not in the way of their study. Today, we are releasing a newly updated schedule for this month's tournament.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the tournament schedule last March 13, 2014 was postponed due to the reason that the tournament manager is having a fever. As announced in our Facebook fan page, the teams who were not able to compete during their designated schedule will be moved on Saturday, March 15, 2014. The competition will start at exactly 2:00 in the afternoon, Philippines time. All teams are requested to check-in 15 minutes before your scheduled match by contacting the tournament manager.
